This is a little too late to be posting, but anyway, here’s the teaser trailer for the Rurouni Kenshin Live Action movie:
It opens in Japanese cinemas on August 25, 2012!
Anime, Games, Gadgets, Music, Food & More!
OMFG! Just checked up on our Facebook Nerd Herd PH Group, and the first thing to greet me in the morning was this one minute trailer for the upcoming Rurouni Kenshin anime film: Shin-Kyoto Hen! For those who don’t know yet, it’s a remake of the anime series’ Kyoto arc or more widely known as Shishio’s arc. But this time, it’s gonna be in Misao Makimachi’s perspective.
First part will be released on December 17. Advanced merry Christmas! d^_^b
Anyway, just watch!
Damn, I got goosebumps!
It’s official! After 13 long years, a new Rurouni Kenshin shall surface for everyone to feast on! Though little info has been released concerning this issue, the project has been green-lit by the higher-ups! More juicy bits below!
From Anime News Network: “The June issue of Shueisha‘s Jump Square magazine is announcing on Thursday that production on a new Rurouni Kenshin anime project has been green-lit. More info will be provided in future issues of Jump Square.
The magazine also noted that the Blu-ray Disc versions of the two Rurouni Kenshin original video anime (OVA) projects and the Rurouni Kenshin: Ishin Shishi no Chinkonka [Requiem] film will ship between August 24 and October 26.
I’m already a retired veteran of the PlayStaion 2, but something kept telling me my PS2 experience won’t be complete without taking those Japanese only-released games for a spin. Pity that I already sold my console, but with PCSX2, I have been able to do just that!
Of course, a good machine is needed to play. Though I was able to play 2D games in my old Pentium 4 laptop with stock specs, the thing crashed after punching in FFX. It went smoothly though when I tried it in my i5 1GB-video desktop. Playing the old games again was totally reminiscent, and I just realized PS2 graphics weren’t as bad as I thought they were.
